Carlotta Mondadori is a PhD student in Bioengineering (Politecnico of Milan) and she is currently working at the Cell and Tissue Engineering Lab, IRCCS Galeazzi Orthopaedic Institute (Milan – Italy). She graduated cum laude in Biomedical Engineering in 2015 (Politecnico of Milan) with a Master Thesis in the field of Cardiovascular in situ Tissue Engineering. During her Master Thesis, she worked at the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) focusing on the development of a drug delivery system able to trigger monocyte recruitment for in situ tissue regeneration. Her PhD research project focuses on the exploitation of microfluidics technologies to study the mechanisms driving inflammation in joint diseases.
